core functionality
Independent hardware high-speed processing
Pulse acquisition, counting, preset comparison, and trigger output are completed locally in the module without the need for CPU intervention. Suitable for high-speed encoders, high-speed positioning, high-speed flow pulses, and high-speed fixed length cutting. The CPU only reads the count value, frequency, and status, and issues preset parameters.
Three working modes
Mode A: 4-channel independent 32-bit unidirectional counter; Each channel can be configured with preset values, and reaching the preset triggers the corresponding hardware output.
Mode B: Two independent 32-bit orthogonal encoder channels, supporting A/B/Z zero marks, Z-phase can be hardware latched for position control.
Mode C: 1-channel 32-bit differential counter, performs differential operation on two pulses, suitable for differential position measurement.
frequency measurement
The module calculates the pulse frequency locally and reports it directly to the CPU with a resolution of 0.1Hz.
Z-phase hardware latch
At the moment of the arrival of the external Z pulse, the current count value is latched without relying on PLC scanning to capture the zero position.
Hardware output trigger
The count value is equal to the preset value, and the module directly drives the hardware output point, with a response of microseconds, eliminating PLC scanning cycle delay.
CPU data exchange
By setting% I status,% AI count/frequency, and% AQ preset parameters; It also supports COMREQ instruction for reading and writing module parameters, and ladder diagrams can be used for software reset and modifying presets.
