Function
1. Extension of I/O rack distance
The original controller backplane comes with a limited I/O bus length. As a bus relay expansion module, CI610 can extend the wiring distance of local I/O racks and mount multiple sets of S800 I/O racks over long distances, solving the wiring limitations of scattered control cabinet space and on-site IO points.
2. Expansion and expansion of I/O rack
The number of native backplane slots for a single CPU is limited. Through CI610 cascading expansion, multiple sets of S800 I/O racks can be loaded externally, greatly increasing the total IO point limit of the system and meeting the data acquisition needs of large process equipment.
3. Bus signal shaping and anti-interference
Built in signal driver and isolation circuit, which shapes and amplifies long-distance bus signals, suppresses electromagnetic interference caused by frequency converters and motors, and ensures real-time control data without delay or packet loss.
4. Bus fault diagnosis
The panel LED indicator provides real-time feedback on bus operation, disconnection, short circuit, and rack disconnection faults; The controller can read fault codes and quickly locate remote IO link issues.
5. Cascade expansion capability
Multiple CI610s can be cascaded in series, with layered expansion of multiple remote IO stations, suitable for large-scale IO layouts in combined cycle power plants and chemical complete sets of equipment.
