Hardware core technology
Channels and Isolation
8 independent differential RTD inputs, single slot; Channel backplane 250Vrms continuous isolation, withstand voltage 1500VAC/1min, suppress ground loop interference, isolate between channels, no channel crosstalk.
Only measuring RTD/resistance, does not support thermocouple, voltage, and current signals.
ADC and Acquisition Performance
∑ – Δ 16 bit ADC; Each channel is independently sampled without a shared reference source.
The data format can be selected for each channel: 32-bit IEEE floating-point number/16 bit integer, directly outputting engineering values.
Excitation current: 0.238~1.654 mA, automatically switched with range; The maximum total resistance of the lead wire is 50 Ω (maximum resistance of a single wire is 25 Ω).
Sensor wiring compatibility
Supports 2-wire, 3-wire, and 4-wire RTDs; Built in 3-wire lead resistor compensation to reduce measurement errors in long lines.
Support RTD types: Pt385, Pt391.6, Ni618, Ni672, NiFe518, Cu426; Resistance measurement range is 250-4000 Ω.
Measurement unit software options: ℃, ℉, Ω.
Hot swappable (RIPP) supports the replacement of modules with the backplane powered on, without the need for shutdown; The minimum CPU firmware is V5.5, and the configuration software Proficy Machine Edition is ≥ V5.8.
Work Environment
Working temperature: -40 ℃~+85 ℃; Maximum power consumption of 2.5W; IP20; Terminal blocks IC694TBB032/IC694TBS032, etc. need to be ordered separately, and the modules do not include terminals.
System constraints
It must be installed on the RX3i universal backplane and cannot be used on the 90-30 backplane.
