1. Excitation closed-loop simulation regulation calculation
G3EA is responsible for collecting raw signals of PT/CT voltage and current, G3EB receives the conditioned signals, performs AVR voltage regulation simulation PID operation, outputs thyristor trigger reference signal, directly controls the output current of excitation power unit, and stabilizes the generator terminal voltage.

2. Complete excitation limit logic hardware circuit
Onboard pure analog hardware limiting circuit, without the need for CPU involvement, independently implements multiple unit protection:
Over excitation limit, under excitation limit, V/Hz/Hertz limit, stator overvoltage limit
Reactive power upper and lower limits, rotor overcurrent hardware lockout; Digital fault contact output to EHDB130 I/O board alarm

3. Local manual adjustment on the front panel
The panel is equipped with an adjustable knob and supports local manual excitation current adjustment mode. During maintenance and shutdown debugging, it can independently control the excitation output from the main control E3ES and switch between automatic/manual working conditions without disturbance.

4. Signal fault latch alarm
Real time monitoring of G3EA input sampling signal disconnection and over range, locking the regulating output and hard contact alarm in case of faults, to prevent uncontrolled voltage regulation from causing unit oscillation.

5. Redundant supporting architecture
Support dual G3EA+dual G3EB with one main and one backup redundancy configuration, seamless switching in case of single board failure, and no need to shut down the power plant units.
