1. Generator analog signal isolation and conditioning (core)
Collect PT voltage, CT current, and rotor excitation current 4-20mA/AC small signals, and convert them into main control E3ES through onboard isolation circuit to read standard DC signals;
High voltage strong and weak electricity are completely electrically isolated (1500VAC withstand voltage), isolating strong electromagnetic interference caused by power plant frequency converters and switch operations, preventing excitation control sampling distortion and unit voltage regulation oscillation.

2. High precision conversion of excitation measurement signals
Built in precision operational amplifier circuit, performs linear correction and impedance matching on voltage/current signals;
Real time conversion of reactive power, active power, and power factor values, uploaded to the E3ES main control for AVR automatic voltage regulation and PSS power stability algorithm calculation, ensuring voltage stability of grid connected units.

3. Signal disconnection fault self-test alarm
Real time monitoring of sensor disconnection, short circuit, and signal over range faults in the onboard hardware circuit;
The fault signal is reported to the E3ES excitation master control through the backplane bus, and the DCS upper level pop-up alarm is triggered. At the same time, the current sampling value is locked to avoid the unit tripping erroneously.

4. Adapt to the entire UNITROL excitation architecture
Standard plug-in backplane slot, 24VDC powered by E5EAA power module;
Redundant dual board configuration, one main and one backup signal acquisition, seamless switching in case of single G3EA failure, and non-stop operation of the generator set.
