IS200WEMAH1AEA (WEMA board) is GE high-speed wide-area ethernet main communication board for Speedtronic Mark VIe distributed turbine control system. It acts as the core network gateway between Mark VIe control rack and external systems, handling real-time transmission of turbine operating parameters, control commands, alarm logs and sequence of events (SOE) data.
The WEMA board provides redundant ethernet communication links, supporting IONet internal control bus and external connection to plant DCS, operator HMI, historian and MES platforms. It supports IEEE 1588 precision time synchronization to ensure accurate timestamp for event recording. It can operate under TMR triple modular redundant architecture for gas and steam turbine safety control systems.
This assembly is a densely populated PCB equipped with multiple terminal blocks, relays, fuses and on-board auxiliary mounting standoffs for daughter board expansion. It continuously monitors communication link health, triggers link-fault alarms and automatically switches to redundant network path upon cable or port failure.
