Typical application scenarios
Large load RX7i rack power supply rack CPU+multiple communication modules (such as IC698ETM001)+a large number of VME IO, high total power consumption of the backplane, choose 350W; small rack modules can use less PSA100.
The factory voltage fluctuates greatly in the context of a wide voltage grid, with 85-264VAC wide input, suitable for global industrial power grids.
AC/DC dual input compatibility allows for connection to both AC mains power and 125VDC backup DC power supply.
⚠️ Key usage precautions
Forced fan is a mandatory condition: without a fan tray installed, the power supply will directly lock and output shutdown when the temperature rises; The airflow detection can be turned off through external jumpers of the module, but it is not recommended to turn it off for a long time as it will accelerate aging and damage.
Can only be Slot0, cannot be inserted into regular IO slots; The rack must be an RX7i VME rack (IC698CHS series), and the RX3i rack is completely incompatible.
Support hot plugging, but the system does not shut down for replacement. The prerequisite is to configure redundant dual power supplies; In the case of a single power supply, unplugging or unplugging will directly cause the entire machine to lose power.
When selecting, it is necessary to add up the+5V/+12V/-12V currents of all VME modules in the rack, and the total load cannot exceed the rated 350W.
Fault phenomenon: The OVERTEMP light is on, indicating a high probability of fan failure or air duct blockage; The FAULT light is often on due to backplane short circuit or module overload.
