f the RX7i system is powered down and operating under battery backup power, it is recommended to replace the battery every 40 days. The service life of the backup battery cannot be accurately predicted, as it is highly dependent on the operating temperature and actual usage conditions. The following key factors affecting battery life help determine the reasonable battery replacement cycle for on-site applications:
  • A continuously working battery (supplying power to memory circuits and system calendar when the system is powered off) has a rated service life of 40 days.
  • The battery does not discharge when the system is powered on. Therefore, the power-down frequency of the RX7i system directly affects the overall battery service life.
  • Ambient temperature is a critical factor impacting battery life. Temperatures significantly higher than room temperature (25°C / 77°F) or below freezing (0°C / 32°F) will substantially shorten the battery’s service life.
