IC697CHS790 belongs to GE Fanuc Series 90-70, 9-slot rear mounted ordinary rack (Rear Mount) , non redundant rack, no dual partition backplane, and the rack body does not include control electronic cards. It consists of a metal shell and a standard VME backplane, used for installing CPU, I/O, communication, and coprocessor modules.
The whole machine has a total of 10 slots, including 1 independent power slot and 9 universal module slots. The backplane uses a standard single VME bus and does not support redundant dual partitions, making it unsuitable for dual CPU hot standby redundant systems. The redundancy project requires the use of IC697CHS770. The backplane complies with the VME bus specification, with a slot spacing of 0.8 inches, compatible with all IC697 series modules and compliant third-party VME boards. Backboard 5VDC maximum output current of 20 amperes, compatible with IC697PWR series AC and DC power modules. The rack can be equipped with fan components to enhance heat dissipation for high-power modules.
The installation form is rear mounted Rear Mount, with the flange on the back of the rack and the module inserted from the back of the cabinet, suitable for standard 19 inch industrial cabinets. Physical dimensions: height 283mm, width 483mm, depth 190mm; overall weight approximately 3.6kg.
A 4-digit rack ID jumper is set behind the power slot, and multi rack systems are used to set rack numbers 0-7. The CPU rack is fixed to rack 0 by default. Support the expansion of I/O scale by connecting expansion cables to external expansion racks. The rack is equipped with module anti error mechanical locks, and different types of modules have positioning buckles to prevent incorrect insertion. The module supports hot swapping and can be replaced during operation without interrupting system operation.
Environmental conditions: working temperature 0-60 ℃, storage temperature 40-85 ℃, relative humidity 5-95%, no condensation, meets industrial vibration and impact standards, and has UL certification.
