1. INSUM intelligent switchgear bus master station
As a dedicated master station for the AC800M controller to interface with ABB medium voltage switchgear, all intelligent device data inside the cabinet is collected through the INSUM Ethernet protocol
Intelligent circuit breaker, motor protection unit, power metering instrument, arc light protection device, medium voltage comprehensive protection device
Real time collection of switch opening and closing positions, current/voltage/power, fault alarms, protection action events, SOE timing messages
Issue remote control commands for opening and closing, as well as protection setting modification commands

2. Dual Ethernet line redundancy
The dual RJ45 channels are mutually hot standby, and there is millisecond level interference free switching when a single network cable is disconnected/short circuited. There is no risk of shutdown in the substation power supply scenario, which meets power safety regulations.

3. Multi point bus expansion capability
A single CI857K01 can mount all switchgear equipment of an entire INSUM bus; A single AC800M controller can expand up to multiple CI857K01 modules and be connected to the busbar switchgear of multiple distribution rooms.

4. Unified time synchronization across the entire site
Support IEEE 1588 time synchronization, issue a unified time scale to all downstream switchgear intelligent devices, ensure the accuracy of power fault SOE event timing, and meet the requirements of power grid fault tracing.

5. Full link fault diagnosis
Real time monitoring of network cable disconnections, bus short circuits, offline switchgear equipment, and communication timeouts; Upload the fault code to the controller, and use Control Builder M software to visually locate faults in the circuit and equipment.

6. Online hot swappable maintenance
There is no need to shut down the entire controller, and the module can be plugged in and replaced separately without affecting other communication channels and process control logic.
