IS200WETAH1AEC Product Introduction

IS200WETAH1AEC (WETA board) is a large-format terminal assembly and signal conditioning PCB assembly for GE Speedtronic Mark VI turbine control rack. It serves as a multi-connector central signal hub, performing field signal termination, power transformation, signal filtering and distribution for gas and steam turbine monitoring and protection loops.

The WETA board integrates 7 fuses, 4 built-in transformers, 6 terminal strips, more than 45 multi-pin connectors and over 25 test points. It can pair with daughter board IS210BPPBH2C to expand system functions. Jumper switches are available for signal gain and range configuration without full disassembly. It receives raw sensor signals including thermocouple temperature, speed pickup and analog process signals, conditions these signals locally, and forwards processed signals to VME main control boards via backplane bus.

It draws 28VDC power from Mark VI chassis backplane, equipped with transient surge suppression circuit to protect against electrical noise and voltage spikes in power plant cabinets. The board supports Simplex and TMR triple modular redundant configurations. Built-in test points allow convenient on-site oscilloscope probing for troubleshooting without shutting down the whole rack. It is widely used for exhaust temperature monitoring, speed signal routing and combustion protection logic of gas turbines.
