IS200WNPSH1ABA Product Introduction
IS200WNPSH1ABA (WNPS board) is a compact plug-in power supply daughter card designed for GE Speedtronic Mark VI turbine control system. It is installed onto TVBA vibration terminal board, specifically built to supply negative -28VDC excitation power for Bently Nevada proximity vibration probes.
The WNPS daughter board takes +28VDC input from the Mark VI rack backplane, performs DC-DC power conversion and regulation to generate stable -28VDC output required by eddy current shaft vibration sensors. It continuously monitors the output voltage, and sends power health status feedback back to the I/O pack for fault diagnostics. In Simplex system one WNPS card is used; for TMR triple redundant vibration monitoring rack, three WNPS daughter boards are deployed for each redundant channel.
Built-in overvoltage, undervoltage and short-circuit protection safeguards the vibration probes and TVBA motherboard from power faults. Its small form factor enables hot-swap maintenance without removing the whole TVBA terminal assembly, reducing turbine outage time during planned maintenance. This sub-board is a mandatory matched component for TVBA vibration terminal boards used in gas and steam turbine shaft vibration protection loops.
