Core functionality
Genius bus master station, global data exchange
Genius is a GE specific token passing twisted pair fieldbus that enables high-speed peer-to-peer communication of Global Data between multiple PLCs.
A single Genius bus can connect up to 8 90-30 PLCs; It can also be connected to the 90-70 and Genius remote IO stations Qualitrol.
Global data maximum: 256 bits (32 bytes), periodic automatic broadcast exchange data, no need for users to write a large amount of transmission and reception logic.
Connect Genius remote I/O site
Drive Genius distributed IO to achieve on-site remote IO acquisition and output, replacing local rack wiring.
