IS200VCRCH1B (VCRC board) is a single-slot 6U VME discrete input & relay output board developed for GE Speedtronic Mark VI turbine control system. It serves as the high-density digital I/O interface between the Mark VI main processor and field discrete devices, collecting contact status signals and driving relay outputs for interlock logic, permissive conditions, breaker control and turbine auxiliary protection.

The VCRC board features 48 channels of discrete contact inputs and 24 relay solenoid outputs. It pairs with DTCI and DRLY terminal boards for field wiring termination. It can be deployed in both Simplex single system and TMR triple modular redundant configurations for gas and steam turbine safety control loops.

Onboard optical isolation protects the control rack from ground potential differences and electrical noise from field cabinets. Hardware input filtering eliminates contact bounce interference. Front-panel LED indicators show RUN, FAULT and STATUS for quick on-site troubleshooting. The VCRC is a compact single-slot alternative to the older VCCC board, saving valuable rack space in Mark VI control cabinets.
