Core functionality
Fiber optic pulse signal conversion (electrical) ↔ Light)
Receive IGBT driving electric pulses from the VME main control board, convert them into optical signals, and send them to the power unit IGBT through optical fibers; Simultaneously receive fault and status light feedback from the power unit, and report back to the main control through electrical signals.
High voltage electrical isolation
Fiber optic control circuits are completely isolated from medium voltage power circuits, avoiding high voltage crosstalk and electromagnetic interference. It is a key interface board between the ACS6000 main control and power unit.
IGBT gate pulse distribution and fault acquisition
Distribute six IGBT trigger pulses; Collect power unit overcurrent, undervoltage, temperature, and fiber optic link interruption faults, report them to the system, and participate in the frequency converter protection trip logic.
VME bus communication
Insert the board into the system VME backplane and interact with the main control board (SDCS-CON-V) for configuration, status, and alarm information.
