Function
1. Dual channel independent parallel communication
The two serial ports are completely independent and can run different protocols and interface with two types of on-site devices simultaneously without interfering with each other, enhancing the system’s scalability.

2. Third party device integration bridging
Addressing the need for serial port integration between AC800M and outdated instruments, frequency converters, other brands of PLCs, and SCADA upper computers is the mainstream serial communication card for retrofitting existing units.

3. Online hot swappable maintenance
There is no need to shut down or power off the entire controller, and the module can be replaced separately without affecting the operation of other control circuits.

4. Full link fault diagnosis
Real time monitoring of serial port disconnection, verification errors, and no response from the slave station; Upload the fault code to the controller and use Control Builder M software to visually troubleshoot communication faults.

5. Long distance expansion compatibility
Paired with RS232 to 485/fiber optic converter, the communication distance can be extended to several kilometers, suitable for dispersed measurement points in power plants and chemical plants.
