Overview
The IS430SNUAH1A is GE Mark VIe SNUA Serial Network Adapter module, designed to expand serial communication capability for Mark VIe turbine control systems. It acts as a dedicated serial gateway between the Mark VIe UCSC controller and third-party field instruments, sensors, displays and legacy serial devices.
This I/O pack integrates a local processor and 8 isolated serial channels, converting serial data to IONet Ethernet packets for transmission to the main Mark VIe controller. It offloads serial protocol processing from the central CPU, reducing controller load and improving system stability for gas/steam turbine and compressor control applications. It supports simplex and TMR redundant configurations in power plant safety control systems.
