The 5X00070G01 is an electronic module (EMOD) for Emerson Ovation DCS high-speed analog input subsystem, designed to acquire 4-20mA current signals from field transmitters and convert analog measurements into high-resolution digital data for the Ovation controller. It works in pair with matching personality modules from the 5X00071 series to complete signal conditioning, surge protection and channel configuration for process monitoring.

This module features 8 individually isolated analog input channels with 14-bit high precision A/D conversion, supporting sampling rates of 50 or 60 samples per second. Channel-to-channel isolation prevents cross-interference between field loops, offering strong immunity against electromagnetic noise in heavy industrial cabinet environments. It is dedicated for 4-20mA transmitter signals widely used for pressure, flow, liquid level and process variable measurement.

Adopting Ovation standard rack-mounted structure, 5X00070G01 supports hot-swap replacement.
