Main functions
Collect 120VAC AC switch signals: AC relay auxiliary contacts, AC limit switches, AC buttons, and high-voltage cabinet hard contact feedback.
Group common input: 16 o’clock is a group of common return lines, with no isolation between channels; If inter channel isolation is required, other models should be selected.
Hot swappable I/O: The module can be plugged and unplugged when the system is powered on, without interrupting the Genius bus, and fault information is reported to the BIU/CPU.
Filtering anti-interference: RC circuit filters out AC spikes and induced false signals in industrial sites, reducing false triggering.
Data upload: The collected 16 point status is sent to the GBI/CPU through the backplane and transmitted to the upper host (90-30/90-70/RX3i) via the Genius bus.
Module recognition diagnosis: BIU automatically identifies the module model, and module missing/faulty can trigger an alarm in the upper PLC program.
