The relay package consists of a sub-rack enclosure housing a single main functional protection module:

SPCJ 1C8: Combined overcurrent and earth-fault relay module providing the core measurement, timing, and tripping logic.

Core Protection Functions

Phase Overcurrent Stages ($I> / I>>$)

Low-set stage ($I>$): Operates on definite-time or Inverse Definite Minimum Time (IDMT) curves (Normal, Very, Extremely, or Long-Time Inverse per IEC 60255).

High-set stage ($I>>$): Instantaneous or definite-time operation with optional software/DIP-switch lockout.

Earth-Fault Stages ($I_0> / I_0>>$)

Low-set stage ($I_0>$): Non-directional earth-fault protection with definite-time or IDMT characteristics.

High-set stage ($I_0>>$): Instantaneous or definite-time tripping.
