VMIVME-3125 Analog Input Board Overview
The VMIVME-3125 Analog Input board provides automatic scanning of 16 differential or 32 single-ended analog input channels. All channels are digitized using a 12-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). Each input channel is overvoltage protected and low-pass filtered, ensuring reliable operation in industrial environments.
The board is designed for ease of use and requires no software configuration. After power-up or system reset, the VMIVME-3125 automatically begins scanning all configured input channels. Conversion data is continuously stored in dual-port memory, allowing immediate access from the VMEbus without processor intervention.
To support diagnostics and maintenance, the VMIVME-3125 includes on-board voltage references that enable both on-line and off-line Built-In Test (BIT) functions. Input voltage ranges, gains, VMEbus base address, and access modes are all user-selectable via jumpers, providing flexible system integration.
