Core Control Function

The core module provides DC excitation current to the generator to establish the required magnetic field. It automatically adjusts the magnitude and phase of the excitation current according to the generator’s operating conditions and grid requirements, ensuring the generator’s terminal voltage and power factor remain within the predefined range.

In addition, the module continuously monitors system operation and suppresses oscillations by dynamically regulating the excitation current. In the event of overcurrent, overvoltage, or other abnormal conditions, it can rapidly cut off the excitation current to protect equipment. Integrated real-time fault diagnosis capabilities further support efficient troubleshooting, enabling operators and maintenance personnel to quickly locate and resolve issues.
