PACSystems RX3i Redundancy CPU
The PACSystems RX3i Redundancy CPU is designed for real-time processing and discrete automation across a wide range of industrial applications. It communicates with programming software and HMI devices via the serial SNP Slave protocol, and interfaces with I/O and intelligent option modules through a dual backplane architecture, providing both performance and backward compatibility:

A redundancy system consists of two identical units. Each unit requires:
One Redundancy CPU (IC695CRU320)
One Redundancy Memory Xchange module (IC695RMX128) configured as the redundancy link

64 MB battery-backed user memory
64 MB non-volatile flash user memory
Fully configurable program and data memory allocation
Programming capabilities
Supports Ladder Diagram (LD), Structured Text (ST), Function Block Diagram (FBD), and C
Auto-located Symbolic Variables with flexible use of available user memory

32 Kbits each for discrete %I and %Q
Up to 32 Kwords each for analog %AI and %AQ
