Bently Nevada 3500/61|Temperature Monitor|

The Bently Nevada 3500/61 is a six-channel temperature monitoring module with recorder outputs for the 3500 Machinery Protection System.
Its key distinction from the 3500/60 is that each temperature channel is equipped with an independent recorder output, making it especially suitable for multi-point temperature monitoring, historical data recording, and trend analysis of critical components such as bearings, motor windings, lubricating oil, and process fluids.
The module is widely used on turbines, compressors, motors, and auxiliary equipment, and complies with API 670 requirements.

The 3500/61 supports six independently configurable temperature input channels, compatible with both RTD and thermocouple sensors. Sensor types can be freely mixed to meet diverse application requirements.

Outputs and Communication
Each channel provides an independent recorder output (0–10 VDC) for direct connection to recorders or data acquisition systems. In addition, the module supports dry-contact relay outputs, 4–20 mA analog outputs, and Modbus / PROFIBUS communication for integration with DCS and ESD systems.
Remote configuration, monitoring, and diagnostics are available via the 3500/40 HMI or System 1 software.
Safety and Environmental Specifications
Designed to meet SIL 2 safety requirements. Operating temperature range is –40 °C to +70 °C, suitable for harsh industrial environments. The module supports hot swapping for ease of maintenance. Typical power consumption is approximately 9 W, higher than the ~7 W consumption of the 3500/60 due to the additional recorder output circuitry.
