The 369 Motor Management Relay is a digital protection and monitoring device designed for three-phase motors and their associated mechanical systems. A distinguishing feature of the 369 Relay is its ability to learn and adapt to individual motor characteristics, allowing it to optimize protection for each specific application. Parameters such as motor inrush current, cooling characteristics, and acceleration time are automatically learned and used to enhance protective performance.

The 369 Relay delivers superior motor protection through the use of the FlexCurve™ custom overload curve, as well as a selection of fifteen standard overload curves, enabling precise coordination where conventional motor relays may be inadequate.

For communication, the relay is equipped with one RS-232 front-panel port and three RS-485 rear-panel ports, all supporting the Modbus RTU protocol as standard. Configuration setpoints can be entered via the front-panel keypad or through a PC using EnerVista™ 369 Setup software. Operating status, measured values, and diagnostic information are available both on the front-panel display and through communications interfaces.

As an option, the 369 Relay can individually monitor up to 12 RTD inputs, which may be applied to stator windings, bearings, ambient temperature, or driven equipment. RTD type selection is fully software configurable. For installations requiring remote temperature sensing, an optional remote RTD module is available and can be connected to the relay via fiber optic or RS-485 communication.

An optional metering package adds voltage transformer (VT) inputs and power measurement functionality. This package provides metering for voltage, real power (kW), reactive power (kvar), apparent power (kVA), power factor, frequency (Hz), and energy (MWh). It also includes three additional user-configurable analog outputs, supplementing the one analog output provided as standard with the base unit.
