VME-PMC-CADDY
VME-PMC-CADDY is a VME64 PMC carrier board (VME to PMC adapter card), designed to install PMC (PCI Mezzanine Card) mezzanine modules into standard VMEbus chassis. It acts as a bridge between VME bus and PCI bus, allowing system integrators to expand VME systems with PMC communication, data acquisition and I/O peripherals without replacing the whole VME rack. This board is widely used as spare part for GE Mark VI / Mark VIe turbine control and legacy embedded VME systems.
VME-PMC-CADDY integrates UNIVERSE CA91C142 VME-PCI bridge chip. It supports up to two single-width PMC modules or one double-width PMC module, complying with IEEE P1386 PMC specification. All PMC I/O signals are routed to VME P2 connector. It can work as VMEbus master or slave, equipped with 4-level VME arbiter, A32/D32 address & data width and up to 7 VME interrupt lines. It is a standard 6U VME pluggable board for VME64 backplane.
