UR8LH

The UR8LH is a single-slot pluggable CT/VT analog input module for GE Multilin UR universal protection relays. It provides 4 CT and 4 VT input channels, built for transmission and distribution line protection applications. This module samples secondary current and voltage signals from instrument transformers, feeding high-fidelity analog data to the UR relay for distance protection, line differential, metering and fault oscillography. It includes enhanced signal diagnostics to detect open CT/VT circuits and abnormal signal conditions. Galvanic isolation protects relay internal circuits from voltage transients and EMI. The module supports automatic CT shorting during removal for maintenance safety, and auto-recognition by UR relay firmware.
