The UR8GH is a single-slot pluggable CT/VT analog input module built for GE Multilin UR family universal protection relays. It acquires secondary current and voltage signals from instrument transformers, with specially optimized circuitry for sensitive ground fault detection, ideal for high-impedance grounded systems and generator protection. This module provides galvanic isolation between high-voltage secondary circuits and relay backplane. It supports auto-detection by UR relay firmware and includes CT shorting mechanism when extracted, eliminating open CT safety hazards.
