GE Multilin T35 is a high-performance numerical transformer protection relay within GE Universal Relay (UR) platform, developed for primary and backup protection, monitoring, control and metering of medium & high voltage power transformers, autotransformers and generator step-up (GSU) transformers in power plants, utility substations and heavy industrial power systemsGE Vernova.

The T35 accepts up to six sets of three-phase CT inputs, suitable for complex multi-winding transformer configurations and multi-breaker differential zones. Its core percentage differential protection adopts dual-slope dual-breakpoint restraint algorithm plus adaptive 2nd harmonic inrush inhibition, which reliably distinguishes internal winding faults from magnetizing inrush and overexcitation conditions to avoid nuisance tripping. The relay automatically completes CT magnitude compensation, phase angle shift correction and zero-sequence current elimination for different transformer vector groups, greatly simplifying site commissioning workGE Vernova.
