Network redundancy and expansion: Dual Ethernet ports can be configured for network redundancy or multi segment communication; A single Tricon system can support up to 4 TCM, totaling 32 Modbus master/slave channels (including serial and network ports).
TMR architecture compatibility: works in conjunction with Tricon triple redundant controllers to ensure communication reliability through a voting mechanism, and a single point of failure does not affect system safety functions.
Accurate time synchronization: Serial port 1 supports Trimble GPS timing, while NET1 supports peer time synchronization to ensure system clock consistency.
Comprehensive diagnosis and alarm: LED indicator lights (power, operation, fault, port status) display module health in real-time; The fault log is linked with the upper computer alarm, making it easy to quickly locate the problem.
Flexible configuration: Configure port modes, baud rates, protocol parameters, Modbus aliases, etc. through TriStation 1131 software, supporting online modification and download.

Safety Instrumented System (SIS): Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) and Fire and Gas Detection System (F&G) data communication for chemical, petrochemical, and natural gas platforms.
Power plant control: safety interlocking and key parameter transmission of steam turbines, generators, and boilers, supporting interconnection with DCS systems.
Process control integration: As a communication bridge between Tricon SIS and third-party control systems, it achieves isolated transmission of safety data and process data.
Remote monitoring and maintenance: Remote configuration, diagnosis, and firmware upgrade of the Tricon system are achieved through Ethernet.
