The Bently Nevada 3500/61 is a six-channel temperature monitoring module with per-channel recorder outputs for the 3500 Machinery Protection System. Equipped with RTD/TC non-isolated internal terminal boards and certified for CSA / NRTL / C explosion-proof applications, the module is designed for temperature monitoring and data trending of critical rotating machinery components.
It is suitable for steam turbines, compressors, motors, and auxiliary equipment in power generation and petrochemical industries, and complies with API 670 requirements.

Six-Channel Mixed Sensor Input
Supports six independently configurable input channels, allowing mixed use of RTD and thermocouple sensors within the same module to meet diverse temperature measurement needs.
RTD: Pt100 / Pt1000, 2-wire / 3-wire / 4-wire
Thermocouple: J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N
Input impedance: 10 MΩ per channel

RTD temperature range: –200 °C to +850 °C

Outputs and Communication
Each channel provides an independent 0–10 VDC recorder output for data recording and trend analysis. In addition, the module supports dry-contact relay outputs, 4–20 mA analog signals, and Modbus / PROFIBUS communication for seamless integration with DCS and ESD systems.
Remote monitoring, configuration, and diagnostics are performed via the 3500/40 HMI or System 1 software.
Safety and Environmental Specifications
Designed to meet SIL 2 safety requirements. Operating temperature range is –40 °C to +70 °C, suitable for harsh industrial environments. The module supports hot swapping, installs into a standard 3500 rack card slot, and is easy to maintain. Typical power consumption is approximately 9 W.
