The Bently Nevada 3500/42M Proximitor/Seismic Monitor provides continuous machinery protection by comparing measured parameters with user-configured alarm setpoints and initiating alarms when limits are exceeded. At the same time, it communicates critical machine condition information to both operations and maintenance personnel, supporting safe operation and effective asset management.

The 3500/42M is a four-channel monitor that accepts input signals from both proximity probes and seismic transducers. It conditions these signals to produce accurate vibration and position measurements, and continuously evaluates the conditioned values against user-programmable alarm thresholds.

This flexible alarm structure allows the 3500/42M to support both early warning and protective shutdown strategies, ensuring reliable protection of critical rotating machinery.
