Display Configuration

The terminal is equipped with a 5.5-inch monochrome LCD operating in blue display mode, capable of presenting data using high-contrast blue pixel graphics. Some vendors specify the display resolution as 320 × 240 pixels.
An optional anti-glare protective cover can be installed to safeguard the screen and enhance visibility under varying ambient lighting conditions commonly found in industrial environments.
The backlight utilizes halogen lamps; in the event of failure, the backlight can be replaced using the 2711-NL1 replacement accessory.

Operation Mode

The device supports both keypad operation and touchscreen input, allowing operators to flexibly enter commands and data. This dual-input design accommodates different user preferences and ensures reliable operation during emergency or special industrial operating conditions.

Power Supply and Memory

The terminal operates on a 24 V DC power supply, making it compatible with standard industrial DC power systems. It features 170 KB of internal application memory, sufficient for the storage and execution of basic HMI applications and industrial control programs.

Communication Interfaces

The terminal is equipped with a Remote I/O communication port and an RS-232 printing port, enabling integration with external controllers, printers, and other industrial devices. Communication can be established using the 2711-NC13 communication cable.
To configure and enable interactive operation with connected systems, the device must be used in conjunction with PanelBuilder 32 configuration software.
