Signal Acquisition Core:
As an 8-channel pulse/frequency input module, it accurately collects pulse and frequency signals generated by industrial field devices such as sensors, encoders, and transmitters. These input signals are converted into digital data recognizable by the control system, providing essential information for monitoring parameters such as rotational speed, flow rate, displacement, and other motion-related variables.

System Communication Hub:
Within the Infi 90 system, the module serves as a key communication link between the Multifunction Processor (MFP) and other subsystems. It facilitates the transmission of control commands, time synchronization, and diagnostic feedback, ensuring reliable, real-time data exchange across the distributed automation network.
The module supports communication with multifunction processors such as IMM FP01 and IMM FP02, and is fully compatible with the Infi Net protocol and factory loop communication mechanisms.

Power supply: Standard 24 V DC, with certain configurations also supporting +5 V DC / 415 mA for specific adaptation scenarios.

Operating temperature: Typically 0 °C to 60 °C; extended versions support –20 °C to 60 °C.
